I enjoy the dutch oven cooking. In the past I've cooked two filling cakes, shredded beef and a breakfast bake. Not all at the same time, mind you. This time it's apple pie.
Apple pie filling in the bottom, pecan pie cake mix on top. Cooking temperature around 350°. That means 8 coals on the bottom, 16 on top. Cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
